How would you rather us pay our athlete membership?
One payment from the gym for the total amount of all athletes would be BEST, it just takes a simple 1 minute phone call to Casey Winn at 800.829.6237 ext 4336. Parents can can also pay via credit card on the website if that is prefered. Cashier's check, money order or a personal check (no gym checks) will be accepted, but please note that the processing time will be extended through these methods.

When does the athletes catastrophic insurance become active?
Million dollar insurance covers an athlete if they are credentialed through the level of the skill they were performing when injury occurs. Athletes catastrophic insurance takes approximately two weeks to process and will not be active until their tests and payment have been successfully processed.

How do I credential my athletes?
Click on the tab "Athlete Membership" and print the "Athlete Credentialing" forms. Any credentialed coach can take the athlete through this process and send forms to the USASF office.

How do my credentialed coaches begin to credential our athletes?
To the athlete, the credentialing program is like a “mini” tryout or a skills check. Coaches cannot credential athletes beyond their own,USASF credentialed levels. (Example 1, A coach credentialed through Level 5 in all categories can credential athletes up through Level 5.) (Example2, a Level 3 credentialed coach cannot credential athletes at Level 4 or Level 5.) Once a coach has verified that the levels are congruent s/he can take the athlete through every skill, signing off when each is completed properly.

Can an athlete be credentialed for more than one position?
Absolutely. Athletes can be credentialed as a Base, Top, or Back Spot. It is possible for them to credential in all three positions depending on their skills. The USASF does not offer credentialing for Front Spot position.

In how many levels can an athlete obtain credentialing?
An athlete can achieve a variety of levels depending on their skills. For example, an athlete can be a Level 2 for Tumbling, Level 3 for Tosses and Level 4 for Stunts. They can add to their credentials as they increase their skill levels. However, they must test and pass all previous levels before they can move on to the next. (Example, An athlete wishing to obtain Level 3 credentialing in a specific category, must first successfully pass Levels 1 and 2.)

If I have a Level 2 athlete for stunts and tosses, but Level 1 for tumbling, when can he/she credential again to move up in his/her levels?
This can occur anytime the athlete is ready to move on within their membership period.

How long are my credentials good ?
Athlete credentialing is good forever as long as their membership is current.
