The USASF Dance Category Directors are non scoring head judges, who lead our community by overseeing scoresheet development, judge selection, scoring systems, process, philosophy training and on site adjudication. The Category Directors work year round to facilitate scoring philosophy, tools and adjudication that is; concise, constant and clear. The selected Direcotrs have evolved with the Dance Worlds Panels, and offer the highest quality of expertise to the continued growth.

Mary has been involved in the dance team industry for over 35 years as a coach and event producer. A part of the original judging panel at The USASF Dance World Championships, Mary is the Education Director for USASF Dance and on the World's Executive Dance Committee. She has served as the Scoring and Adjudication Director as well as the Pom Category Director. Mary is also the Junior Category Director for The USASF Dance World Championship. She serves as the Vice President of MA Dance, and a former director and choreographer of the North Texas State University Songleaders. In addition, she serves as Assistant Director and Choreographer for the Texas Christian University Showgirls, her alma mater. She is the executive director and former choreographer of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl held in Orlando on New Year's Day. Mary has also choreographed the Aloha Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Hall of Fame Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Bluebonnet Bowl, the Sidney and Seville World Expo along with the Maui Classic.
|Cheryl is the USASF Dance Adjudication Director and Pom Category Director at The USASF Dance World Championship. She has been involved in the dance industry for over 20 years. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe and spent six years as a company member with Gateway Ballet in St. Louis, MO. As a graduate of the University of Missouri, she earned an NDA National Championship title with the Mizzou Golden Girls Dance Team. Cheryl is a former NFL St. Louis Rams Cheerleader and NBA Dallas Mavericks Dancer. She was a choreographer and Head Instructor for NDA and spent seven years as their Event Producer and Curriculum Director. She serves as an NDA Head Judge and member of their Score Sheet, Rule Book and Judge's Training Committees. Cheryl enjoys judging for many national and international event producers including NDA, UDA, CheerSport, The GROOVE Experience, JAMZ, Japan Cheer and Dance Association and the Australian All-Star Cheerleading and Dance Federation.|
Michelle received a B.S. in Dance Performance from Ball State University. She directs the Senior Performing Company and the annual production of The Nutcracker at Curtain Call Studio for Performing Arts where she also as developed a multi genre/level curriculum as Artistic Director. She has judged The Dance Worlds since its inaugural year and is currently the Category Director for Jazz and Director of Dance Curriculum for the USASF. Since 2010, Michelle has been a choreographer for the Colts NFL Cheerleader auditions and halftime shows. She has been a guest judge/master instructor with JCDA Tokyo for seven years and is a veteran judge of Cheersport, Spirit of Hope, The Groove Experience, UDA College Nationals, MA Dance, NFL Colts and the Ben-Gals. She spent 13 years teaching for NDA and has judged NDA Regionals, All Star and College National championships since 1992.
|Anastasia is a graduate and former dance team captain from The Ohio State University. For the past 15 years, she has been a talent representative booking choreographers, dancers, actors, athletes and models in feature films, television, commercials, music videos, Broadway productions and world artist tours. She was a senior agent at BLOC Talent Agency LA for 8 years and then took over BLOC NYC through 2008. After many years with BLOC, she became the Director of Choreography/Dance and Commercial Departments at Clear Talent Group NYC. Her clients were booked in projects ranging from Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Footloose, Black Swan, Stomp the Yard, Glee, Saturday Night Live, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Grammy Awards and Academy Awards, among others. Most recently, Anastasia joined the team at Inside Publications as Associate Publisher and helped launch the all-access magazine titled Inside Dance. In 2014 she became the Outreach Director for USASF Dance and continues her role as Hip Hop Director for The USASF Dance World Championship, a title she's maintained since 2013 after being the Jazz Director from 2010-2012. She has judged for UCA/UDA, USA, NCA/NDA, COA, JAMZ, Elite Championships, Cheer America, ACP, COP Brands, Varsity All Star, Jam Brands, Starpower, World Dance Pageant, The Pulse, Monsters of Hip Hop and The International Cheer Union Championships.|
|Patty has enjoyed a career in dance for over 30 years, with a primary focus in the area of hip hop choreography and team preparation for competitive dance events. Patty originated and served as Head Coach of the Bartram Trail Dance Team, leading them to three consecutive national championships. She went on to coach the University of Central Florida KnightMoves Division IA Dance Team. She currently serves as a Head Judge for NDA, UDA and The GROOVE. Patty has been fortunate enough to have been a member of the Hip Hop judging panel at The USASF Dance World Championship since 2013 and currently serves as Hip Hop Category Co-Director. In addition to being a member of the USASF Judges Education Committee, she serves as a Keynote Speaker, Dance Library author and Mentor for USASF Dance.|
