WHEN

2021-2022 Competition Season (September 1, 2021 – May 23, 2022)

PROCESS

At the conclusion of every USASF Member Competition Producer’s sanctioned competition, the Competition Producer will be required to provide USASF the placement for each team, in each division and/or category, that is included in the USASF Elite Power Rankings. This must be done within 72 hours after the completion of the event through the USASF Sanctioned Competition closeout. The USASF Elite Power Rankings divisions will not be split by size, coed, or all-girl unless already split on the USASF Age Grid.

NOTE: For the purpose of the USASF Elite Power Rankings, if divisions are combined at any USASF Sanctioned Competition, the competition producer will report the placements to USASF as if the divisions were not combined (i.e. ranking will be reported based on a team’s official USASF roster).

Example: If at a competition producer combines two Youth Small Jazz teams and one Youth Large Jazz team together to create a Youth Jazz division with three teams, then the competition producer will enter into the USASF Elite Power Rankings database the results of the two Youth Small Jazz teams designating 1st and 2nd place and the one Youth Large Jazz team will be ranked 1st as they were the only team in their rostered division.

The USASF Elite Power Rankings program will automatically calculate the points for each team. Points are calculated based on individual team ranking and the number of teams in each division.
