Benefits of attending a Sanctioned Competition

Event Producers of USASF Sanctioned Competitions will:

Require all adult athletes, owners, coaches and personnel to have a current greenlight background check and completed abuse prevention education
Monitor access to warm up rooms by creating team rosters
Verify athlete ages for fair competition
Provide a properly equipped EMT or athletic trainer present and ready
to handle emergencies
Provide USASF-trained and -certified legality officials who are on-site or on-call to provide rulings in real time at all sanctioned competitions

We strive to provide consistent rules and safety guidelines, drive competitive excellence and promote a positive image for the sport. The USASF credentials coaches, certifies legality officials and sanctions events - all with the goal to provide the safest possible environment in which athletes may train and compete. Founded in 2003, we are a not-for-profit corporation established in Tennessee and governed by bylaws, officers, a board of directors and fifteen standing committees.
