DANCE SCORING

Unified scoring system at The Dance Worlds™

The USASF and IASF will utilize a unified scoresheet beginning at The Dance Worlds 2027. This alignment around a singular scoresheet represents an important step toward further connecting the international All Star Dance community. A shared scoring framework creates greater consistency in how teams are evaluated while allowing for education, training and resources to be more universally relevant and accessible to coaches, judges and event producers around the world. This alignment supports a more connected competitive experience and strengthens our shared commitment to the continued growth and development of All Star Dance globally.

The Dance Worlds Scoring System is an optional resource available to all event producers for use throughout the competition season. Please verify with each event producer which scoring system will be used and plan your choreography accordingly.

The Dance Score Sheet Committee includes event producers, industry specialists, coaches, choreographers, and judges, and is tasked with reviewing and refining the Worlds Score Sheet annually.

USASF Scoring Educational Training

The Dance Worlds Panel Directors lead the scoring webinar, providing an in-depth review of category definitions and score sheet captions, and sharing insights into the tools and resources judges use to promote consistency and clarity at The Dance Worlds.
