Typically, a first and last name will narrow the list sufficiently.

1. Click the filter icon in the first name column.
2. Enter the name, click FILTER,

Repeat steps for the LAST NAME column

To Search By Organization Affiliation
Organization names can be tricky, so the less you enter, the better.

1. In the ORGANIZATION column, click the filter icon.
2. Click the down arrow and then select CONTAINS. (This comes in handy when you're not certain of a program's full name)
3. Enter one or two key words in the organization's name such as Stars.
4. Click FILTER.
5. If the list is still too long, use the STATE column to filter it further.

Your Search Results Will Include Adult Participants Who Have Both:

• current USASF affiliation or memberships AND
• current background screenings with greenlight determinations

WHY CAN'T I FIND THE PERSON I'M LOOKING FOR?

The absence of an individual’s record may imply:

1. The proper name or spelling has been entered incorrectly.
2. The person has not yet registered or renewed their USASF membership for the current season, OR
3. The person does not have a current background screening. Perhaps they:
   • have not yet renewed or completed a background screening, OR
   • have been unable to receive a no alert determination.

WHAT IS A NO ALERT DETERMINATION?

Background checks are a critical component of any athlete protection program. At USASF we believe thorough a background check of all individuals who engage in regular contact with minor athletes is the first step toward protecting those athletes.

JDP conducts all background screenings of USASF's adult members. The individuals shown in this directory have received greenlight determinations using JDP's full-service product in accordance with the criteria chosen by the USASF.

WHAT IS ABUSE PREVENTION TRAINING?

Abuse prevention training is an educational program designed to keep athletes of all sports safe from misconduct and abuse. In general, Safe Sport training focuses on emotional and physical misconduct, mandatory reporting and sexual misconduct awareness education. Safe Sport training is an eligibility requirement of all adult members who engage in regular contact with minor athletes.

WHAT ARE BUILDING AND TUMBLING CREDENTIALS?

Cheer coaches may be credentialed to confirm that they have shown the basic knowledge and understanding of building and tumbling skills levels 1-6. While this is not a mandatory requirement for all coaches (a Worlds team coach must be credentialed up their team's competition level), the USASF strongly promotes credentialing opportunities for all coaches.
